MEPCO Thermodynamic Disc Traps are designed for pressures from 4 to 600 psig, maximum temperature to 750 degrees Fahrenheit, and capacities to 2820 lbs. per hour. Typical applications are tracer lines, steam line drops, steam jacketed fittings and pumps, small press platens, dry cleaning presses and similar light to moderate condensate load service. They are not recommended for applications with varying loads, especially comfort steam heating systems. MEPCO Model MD Thermodynamic Disc Traps are compact, easy to install, self-draining and resistant to water hammer. The hardened disc is replaceable without removing the trap from the piping. Constructed entirely of stainless steel, these traps are available in four sizes -3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1", with or without intergral strainer.
